The newly-launched bungee jump spot in Kushma, which has also been claimed as the world’s second-highest spot of this kind, is flooded with domestic tourists as the country is gradually but cautiously trying to resume all tourism-related businesses in recent days.
The site introduced by Cliff Nepal Private Limited is as high as 282 meters providing a thrilling experience to those who love making themselves jump freely from Nepal’s highest destination of this kind. One can also enjoy swing and sky cycling. The operators of the company claim that the swing over the Kali Gandaki River is the tallest in the world.
The company shared that as many as 35 people a day, on an average, go there to enjoy the sport for which one has to pay Rs 7,000 for a single jump. “It’s really encouraging that domestic youths are attracted by this sport,” said Raju Karki of Cliff Nepal.
These adventure activities came into operation from the 500 metres long suspension bridge across the Kaligandaki gorge on November 3. The bridge joins Balewa in Baglung district and Kushma, the district headquarters of Parbat.
